It's been an interesting day online. In between doing all the stuff that needs to be done for the holiday celebration which has included: cleaning, tackling the pile of laundry and re-shelving wayword books that have a way of landing in all sorts of nooks and crannies, I've dropped into several live conversations online via Twitter and watched a great Christmas eve service online.
We've got tons and tons of snow over here in Grand Rapids, MI...so it will be a very, very white and cold Christmas. But, we're looking forward to time with the family and reconnecting with friends. 2008 has been an extraordinary year in so many ways. There have been moments when I shook my head in wonderment at what was going on. Yet, I'm thankful for God's grace and mercy and pray for His continued guidance and blessing in your life in the year ahead.

Lola we have lots of the white stuff on the ground over here also. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Merry Christmas, always enjoy reading your blogs. Grand Rapids seems worlds away from New Orleans but you always bring it a lot closer. Cheers!
Beautiful video Lola. Thanks for posting. I'm having a quiet and tranquil Christmas Eve - but tomorrow will be crazy. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday.

Hi Lola,
Very nice thoughts. I agree. Wishing a very MERRY CHRISTMAS to you! :)
Monika, Thank you so much for extending a gracious Christmas blessing. May you also have a warm and happy Holiday.
George, I can imagine. It's been several years since we've seen this sort of heavy snowfall. The benefit is that I've gotten a lot done inside. :) Blessings to you and your family this Christmas.
Eric, Thanks for stopping by. I've so appreciated your visits to my Grand Rapids Real Estate Musings blog from time to time & have also enjoyed stopping by to get an update on what's happening in the New Orleans market. We got a ton of White Stuff too! Happy holidays to you and keep warm.
Lola - no snow here, but chilly, gray and rain expected. Tomorrow will be a grand day to hunker down with visiting family and enjoy the day. Have a wonderful holiday.
Jeff
Lola, Merry Christmas to you and your family. Yea, it is cold here and the ground is white. My oldest is stuck in Seattle, her flight was canceled and rebooked for in the AM. Say a prayer she will make it home, it is very hard for her and us. Jamie and Matthew are here and they are both deployed in January so we really want her home.
Lola - Merry Christmas to you and your family. And may God bless us all in 2009.
Sally, enjoy the sunshine for me! Merry Christmas and blessings for a great New Year!
Tami, glad you enjoyed the videos. Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you and the family a wonderful Christmas.

Jeff...What...no sunshine in CA? But, at least you probably won't have temperatures below zero. :) Wishing you and your family a wonder-filled Christmas. Thanks for stopping by to extend your greetings.
Oh Missy, I will pray that your daughter makes it in for Christmas as early as possible. We pray daily for the all our roops stationed around the world. May God's Blessings continue to multiply in your lives through this holiday season. Thanks for stopping by tonight.
Amen Carol Thanks for your comment. Merry Christmas to you. :)
Lola,
Haste, haste to bring Him laud!!! Merry Christmas! Thanks, Fran
Merry Christmas - we keep going from ice, to snow, to rain and back to ice....NY is funny that way - the "winter mix" weather can be difficult. I wasn't able to finish my shopping because of it. Tried to do some today, but the crowds were INSANE! I think everyone had the same problem - so it was just nutty out there!
Hopefully 2009 will be a better year for all of us - especially our beleagured sellers!
Merry Christmas, Lola! Thank you for all you do for Mothers Fighting For Others!
MERRY CHRISTMAS! I love the water video =) BTW, I slept most of the day, then got ready for church where I had to sing a solo. I could have done better =/ But I guess God doesn't mind.
Lola, The videos were just beautiful....so was your heartfelt message. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and lots of Blessings for the New Year.
Lola, it has been an honor and priviledge to get to know you this past year. Thank you for these beautiful videos and for always reminding us of the good side of life!
Merry Christmas!...Thanks for the video of snow covering the branches and home...we never get snow and being from Buffalo NY I miss the snow 1 day a year.
Beautiful post! Thanks for the video - we don't get snow in Austin (almost never) so was a real treat!
