Wordless Wednesday...What Summer looks like...

Inn at Perry Cabin view of Chesapeake Bay, St. Michaels

Watching oyster boats on the Chesapeake Bay puts one relaxed vacationer (my hubby) to sleep.

Hi Lola...Tell your hubby to get those shoes and socks off, roll up those pants, and dip his feet in the water.  Better yet, put on that bathing suit.

Kate

P.S.  Is the weather too cool?  My daughter took her two daughters over to Virginia Beach for the day (they live in Williamsburg).  She called to tell me there is plenty of wind, temps in the 70s, and the red flag flying which means no swimming.

Hope it warms up for you.

Nothing like a little bit of lapping water to make you fully relax.

Hi Kate, this picture was taken a couple of weeks ago. The weather was very pleasant.  How I wish we were back.  It was a wonderful time.  The socks were off very shortly. :)

Hi Lola - Nothing like taking time off - away from it all!  I'm guessing you were not ready to come back were you?

Well, you surely took time off at a great location for relaxing.  Simply sitting at a waterfront is relaxing.

Lola - I love this. Being a big waterfront fan, I totlally identify. What better to do than sit and enjoy, or have a relaxing snooze.
